In Virginia’s Fifth Congressional District www.virginiafifthwatchdog.com we have used this in a very effective way. We used blogging to effect a takeover of the GOP Units by publishing a RPV Takeover document. We’ve used it to support our candidates. We’ve covered stories from unique angles that nobody else wanted to touch. When the local paper refused to publish Tea Party letters to the editor, we did. When they slanted a story, we could slant it back.
Adding Video coverage we were able to provide coverage of events and of candidates.
